Women Impacting ISU Calendar
Do you know a woman who has impacted Iowa State University through outstanding service to their unit, campus involvement in the classroom or community relationships; inspires women of all generations; and is a current Iowa State student, staff or faculty member? If yes, then nominate her for the Women Impacting ISU Calendar.
The annual calendar, which was initiated in 2007, highlights the accomplishments and achievements of 12 women currently on the Iowa State University campus as students, faculty and staff. Selections are made by a committee comprised of previous honorees, past nominators, and staff of the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics based on the nominees' achievements in administration, teaching, research and service as well as their involvement in various campus activities.
The calendar is open to individuals who identify as a woman, which includes women who are cisgender and transgender. The nomination form is available on the Catt Center's website.
Funding for the calendar is provided by Iowa State's Office of the Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion. Catt Center staff and students publicize and collect the nominations; organize the recognition reception; and design, order, and distribute the calendars.
