Diana Sloan, MBA

Diana Sloan serves as Program Director for Diversity and Inclusion, Hispanic and Latino Affairs. She is responsible for providing, developing, and facilitating education programs like Campus Conversations and Know Your Rights; coordinating and leading outreach activities for students, faculty and staff, with special emphasis on Hispanic/Latino and other underrepresented populations; and supervising the Lazos program mentor and the Step Up program intern(s).

Previously, Diana was the Director of Marketing and Alumni Relations for Graduate Programs at Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business. Since joining Iowa State in 2014, she has served as Co-Chair of the Faculty and Staff Association Council, Co-Chair of Colegas, President of the Board of Directors of the YWCA Ames-ISU, Chair of the Student Track for Iowa Women Lead Change, and member of the Ivy College of Business Committee on Diversity.

Diana has worked in marketing and public relations across North America, coordinating bilingual and multicultural projects between diverse markets in Mexico, the United States, and Canada. She has been a contributor to “Many Voices, One Vision”, an online publication where she advocates for diversity and inclusion in higher education and corporations.

Diana holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from ITESM and a Master of Business Administration from Iowa State University.
