Julie Reilly serves as an Equal Opportunity Specialist within the Office of Equal Opportunity. Her responsibilities include investigating claims of discrimination and harassment under Iowa State’s Discrimination and Harassment Policy, investigating matters involving Title IX, facilitating discussions and mediations centering on discrimination or harassment, and providing training to faculty, staff and students on similar issues.
Julie joined the Office of Equal Opportunity in July 2015. Prior to her appointment in the Office of Equal Opportunity at ISU, she served as an HR Consultant in ISU’s UHR Employee & Labor Relations. She came to ISU from Casey’s Corporate Headquarters in Ankeny, where she worked as an HR Assistant focusing on administering FMLA and
handling ADA Accommodations.
Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Northwest Missouri State University. She earned her MBA in Human Resource Management from Upper Iowa University. She is originally from Bedford, Iowa, and now lives in Ankeny. She enjoys taking pictures and spending time with her husband and three children.
